How to say “the taking” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْأَخْذِ عَلَى يَدِهَا، فَلْيَكُنْ وَكِيلُكَ عَلَيْهَا الْعِلْمُ،
And the taking hold of it by the hand, so let knowledge be your agent over it,
والأخذِ — and the taking. An action-noun fronted by 'wa-' (and), adding a second item parallel to the rendering mentioned just before. The 'wa-' coordinates two abstractions at the same level, and the noun stays in the dependent form continuing the earlier prepositional frame.
