Arabic vocabulary
How to say “your agent” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْأَخْذِ عَلَى يَدِهَا، فَلْيَكُنْ وَكِيلُكَ عَلَيْهَا الْعِلْمُ،
And the taking hold of it by the hand, so let knowledge be your agent over it,
وَكِيلُكَ — and your agent. A noun fronted by 'wa-' (and) and closed by '-ka', the male 'your', so one word holds connector, noun, and possessor. It is the thing the preceding 'let it be' points to, the role that knowledge is being told to fill.
