لَمَّا يَسْمَعُ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ فِي الْقُرْآنِ

الْوَعِيدِ — the warnings. A noun made definite by al- and put in the genitive by the preposition before it. It names the thing heard, and the preposition plus this noun together complete 'hears from the warnings'.
