زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ
People were made to find attractive the love of desires: women and sons, and the piled-up heaps of gold and silver.
النِّسَاءِ — the women. Carries al- ('the') and is the first item in the list of desires, standing in the genitive as the object of the explanatory preposition before it. The plural is irregular, formed by reshaping the word internally. It opens the enumeration of the things people are drawn to.
