Arabic vocabulary
How to say “then his love” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَكُلُّ مَا أَحَبَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَمَحَبَّتُهُ فَاسِدَةٌ
And whatever one loves for reasons other than God, that love is corrupt.
فَمَحَبَّتُهُ — then his love. The fa- here opens the result clause, signaling 'then' as the consequence of the condition set up earlier. The noun for love carries a tail -hu, 'his/its', tying the verdict back to the case described. So the prefix marks the payoff and the suffix names whose love is judged.
