How to say “then on the Day” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وإن كان الذي يبدو عليه في الدنيا إنما هو عمله لا سريرته فيوم القيامة تبدو عليه سريرته ويكون الحكم والظهور لها
If what appears about someone in this world is only his deeds and not his inner self, then on the Day of Resurrection his inner self will be revealed and the judgment and manifestation will be for it.
فَيَوْمَ — then on the Day. The fa- opens the result half of the 'if... then...' sentence, 'then', and the noun it carries, 'day', is in the accusative because it works as a time-when adverb fronted for emphasis, 'then on the Day...'. So the connector launches the result clause and the accusative pins the action to that time.
