How to say “they do” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَنَّ كُلُّ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ وَمَا يَقُولُونَ صَغِيرًا أَوْ كَبِيرًا
And that everything they do and everything they say, whether small or great,
يَفْعَلُونَ — they do. A present-tense verb whose ending -una marks a third-person 'they' as the doers — the Companions. The plural subject is carried in that tail, and the present tense gives a general, habitual sense: all they do. It fills out the 'everything that they do' headed by 'all that'.
