ظَنِّ — the thinking. 'the opinion of', genitive after 'fi', head of an 'of' pairing with 'some'.

ظَنًّا — an assurance. 'a [mere] probability, surmise', accusative — a specifying object: 'benefits [even] surmise-wise'. The accusative names the dimension of the benefit.

What then is expected of those they refuted?
الظَّنُّ — is expected. This noun anchors a set idiom: 'what is the opinion/expectation regarding...?' Literally 'the supposition', it pairs with the question-word to ask how one should rate something. Reading it as a fixed phrase, rather than the bare noun, is the key to the sentence.
