Arabic vocabulary
How to say “to guide” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
بَلْ لَوْ فَكَّرْتُمْ فِيمَا تُبْصِرُونَ وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ لَدَلَّكُمْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَنَّ الْقُرْآنَ حَقٌّ
But if you considered what you see and what you do not see, that would guide you to the Quran's truth.
لَدَلَّكُمْ — that would guide you. A past-tense verb 'it would surely guide you' with an emphatic 'surely' prefix, a built-in 'it' doer, and an attached 'you (plural)' object. As the answer to the earlier 'if', the prefix plus past form marks the hypothetical result.
