وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ تَكُونُ قُوَّةُ صَبْرِهِ عَنْ الْمُخَالَفَاتِ أَقْوَى
And among them are those whose patience in refraining from transgressions is stronger.
الْمُخَالَفَاتِ — the transgressions. A definite plural noun ('the transgressions') marked by the al- prefix rather than a separate 'the'. It sits in the genitive ending as the object of the preposition before it. It names the category of acts that the patience refrains from.
