Arabic vocabulary
مُفيد is how you say “useful” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
ليس كلُّ لامعٍ نافِع، ولا كلُّ مفيدٍ صاخب
Not everything that glitters is beneficial, and not everything useful is noisy.
مُفيدٍ — useful. A Form IV participle, 'useful / beneficial,' indefinite, in the -i form, owned in 'all that is useful.' The genuinely useful — which is NOT always the loud thing, as the predicate next says. Worth doesn't shout.
