Arabic vocabulary
How to say “varied in” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَالْحَرْثَ مُخْضَرًا وَمُصْفِرًا مُخْتَلِفًا الْأَلْوَانِ وَالْأَزْهَارِ،
and the cultivated land, green and yellow, varied in its colors and flowers.
مُخْتَلِفًا — varied. An adjective 'varied / differing' describing the land, in the object form to agree with it. By its nature it reaches for a following noun to say varied in what respect, governing that noun into the genitive. It sets up the 'varied in its colors and flowers' that completes the image.
