Arabic vocabulary
How to say “victory” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَالنَّصْرُ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ وَالْفَرَجُ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ وَالْعُسْرُ مَعَ الْيُسْرِ
So victory is with patience, and relief is with distress, and hardship is with ease.
فَالنَّصْرُ — so the victory. The fa- here draws the lesson, 'and so', stating the principle that follows from the brotherhood image. It is prefixed to the definite noun 'victory', the topic of the first of three balanced sayings. So it turns the metaphor into a maxim and names its subject.
