How to say “wide” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
And a path that had remained wide became narrow, so the majority divided their religion and became sects.
مُتَّسِعًا — wide. A describing word in the accusative serving as the predicate of the 'kept on being' frame, naming the state the path held, wide. The accusative is what this 'remained X' construction assigns to its predicate.
