How to say “with its sobs” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
إِلَى أَنْ عَلَا الضَّجِيجُ، وَتَرَدَّدَ بِشَهِقَاتِهِ النَّشِيجِ،
Until the clamor rose and reverberated with its plaintive sobs,
بِشَهِقَاتِهِ — with its sobs. Three pieces in one word: the preposition bi- 'with', a plural noun, and a 'his/its' pronoun on the end. Bi- marks the means of the reverberation and forces the genitive, while the attached pronoun ties the sobs back to the thing echoing earlier in the line.
