How to say “with the word” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا تَكَلَّمْتَ بِالْكَلِمَةِ مَلَكَتْكَ وَلَمْ تَمْلِكْهَا
For indeed, when you speak a word, it possesses you and you do not possess it.
بِالْكَلِمَةِ — with the word. The preposition 'with/by-means-of' is fused to a noun that already wears 'the'. The preposition pulls that noun into its object case, marking it as the instrument of the speaking: the word that you speak with.
