Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you leave” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
عَلَى أَنْ تُخَلِّيَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِهَا،
On condition that you leave between me and between her self.
تُخَلِّيَ — you leave. A present-tense verb addressed to 'you', its subject carried inside, pushed by the particle before it into the special aim-marking ending. That ending is why it reads as 'that you let', the stipulated act, rather than a plain statement.
