Arabic vocabulary
How to say “you will be granted intercession” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
ثُمَّ يُقَالُ اِرْفَعْ مُحَمَّدُ، وَقُلْ يُسْمَعُ، وَسَلْ تُعْطَهْ، وَاشْفَعْ تُشَفَّعْ،
Then it is said: "Rise, Muhammad; say, it is heard; ask and you will be given; intercede and you will be granted intercession."
تُشَفَّعْ — you will be granted intercession. A passive verb directed at the listener: 'you' will be granted intercession, with no agent named, so the focus is on the assurance given rather than the giver. It answers the preceding command as its promised result, the same command-then-guarantee pattern running through this passage.
