عِندَ — among. A word meaning 'with' or 'in the eyes of', expressing being held in regard among a group. It governs the noun that follows and frames where this status is sought: in the estimation of worldly people.

عِندَ — with. A place-word 'with/at' that opens an 'of' pairing with the following name, 'with God / in God's keeping'. It governs the noun after it into the genitive shape and frames what is being contrasted as belonging to God's side. It needs the next word to complete the phrase.
