How to say “Anas” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ
From Anas ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:
أَنَسِ — Anas. The name sits in the -i form because the preposition before it requires that ending. It is the first narrator — the Companion from whom the report comes — and the rest of the line identifies him further.
