How to say “be designated” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
السادس أنه لا ذكر للاحليل حتى يتعين كون المرجع إليه
The sixth is that there is no mention of the urethra to justify that it is the referred object.
يَتَعَيَّنَ — justify. This verb sits in the subjunctive demanded by the particle before it, a reflexive-pattern verb meaning 'it becomes determined/fixed'. The subjunctive ending shows 'until/so that' controls it; together they frame the determining as the purpose.
