Arabic vocabulary
اعْتِقَادِ is how you say “belief” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
اذا كان صاحبها سليم الاعتقاد عادلا خيرا كما رأينا جماعة منهم،
If its adherent has sound belief, is just and kind, as we have seen in some of them.
الِاعْتِقَادِ — belief. This completes 'sound of belief', in the genitive as the area in which he is sound. Pairing a quality-adjective with a following genitive noun is the compact 'sound in his creed'. It rounds off the first predicate.
