How to say “best” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَأحمد عَاقبَتهَا أَن تكون لَا لَهُ وَلَا عَلَيْهِ تَنْبِيه
And the best outcome is that it is neither for him nor against him. Attention!
وَأَحْمَدُ — And the best. 'And' plus an elative 'most praiseworthy / best', first term of an 'of' pairing — 'the best of its outcome' — the topic, nominative (one shape serves 'more / most'). Not the name Ahmad; it owns the noun that follows.
