If it leads to the Fire, then it is bitterness in reality, even if it is sweet in taste.
مَرَارَةٌ — bitterness. The predicate noun of the verdict, with a bare indefinite ending: bitterness. In this verbless sentence it equates the pleasure with this quality: in truth it is bitter.
