How to say “disobedience” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَأَنَّهُ يَقُولُ إِنْ كَانَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَنْ تَلَاقِيَهُمْ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ
It is as if he is saying that if you had power over them to cast them into disobedience to God.
مَعْصِيَةِ — disobedience. An action-noun ('disobedience') heading an 'of' pairing 'disobedience OF God' (i.e. against God), in the genitive ending under the preceding 'into'. It drops its own 'al-' and takes definiteness from the divine name that follows.
