يَنَهَلُونَ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ وَوَعْظِهِ وَتَذْكِيرِهِ خَاصَّتَهُمْ وَعَامَّتَهُمْ،
Both the elite and the common people drew from his knowledge, his preaching, and his reminders,
يَنَهَلُونَ — they drew. A present-tense verb in the third-person masculine plural, with the 'they' subject shown by the plural ending fused on. It describes ongoing, repeated action ('they kept drawing'). The subject named later, the elite and common folk, agrees with this plural form.
