How to say “escape” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الحمد لله الذي لا يجد الهارب منه وزرًا ولا معاذا،
Praise be to Allah, from whom the fugitive cannot find refuge nor escape.
مَعَاذٗا — escape. This is a second object of 'finds', parallel to 'refuge', with its -an ending marking it as an indefinite object, 'an escape'. Joined under the repeated negation, it widens the impossibility to cover any place of safety at all.
