Arabic vocabulary
موجود is how you say “existing” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
كَمَا أَنَّ مَا شَاهَدُوهُ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ وَمَا لَا يُشَاهِدُونَهُ حَقٌّ مَوْجُودٌ
Just as what they observe of creation and what they do not observe truly exists.
مَوْجُودٌ — exists. A passive participle 'existing/found', a second predicate reinforcing the first: real and existent. Its indefinite nominative ending matches the prior predicate, and the passive sense is 'made to be present'.
