How to say “to see” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
كَمَا أَنَّ مَا شَاهَدُوهُ مِنَ الْخَلْقِ وَمَا لَا يُشَاهِدُونَهُ حَقٌّ مَوْجُودٌ
Just as what they observe of creation and what they do not observe truly exists.
يُشَاهِدُونَهُ — they do not observe it. A present-tense verb 'they witness it' with the plural 'they' subject built in and an attached 'it' object, under the scope of the preceding 'not'. One word carries the verb, its plural doer, and its pronoun object.
