وَفِي النَّهْي اجتنابه خوفًا مِنْهُ وإجلالا ومحبة
And concerning the prohibition, by avoiding it out of fear of Him, reverence, and love.
خَوْفًا — fear. The '-an' ending makes this an accusative of motive: 'out of fear'. Arabic uses this case to state the reason behind an act, so the avoidance is done from fear.

خَوْفًا — fearing. A noun of cause in the bare object form that marks reason or motive: out of fear. Arabic uses this special accusative ending to say why an action is done, where English would add 'because of' or 'out of'.
