How to say “games” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
الَّذِي قَطَعَ أَنْفَاسَهُ بِالْمُجُونِ وَاللَّهْوِ وَالْأَلْعَابِ
who cut short his life through debauchery, amusement, and games
وَالْأَلْعَابِ — and games. Another 'wa-' joins the third and final item to the same list. Like its neighbour it keeps the genitive ending handed down from the earlier 'bi-', so all three nouns are read as parallel instruments of how the man wasted his life.
