And if they gathered to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah has decreed against you.
اجْتَمَعُوا — they gathered. The Form VIII 'come together' again, now with the plural '-u' 'they' (the focus shifting to people generally). It is the condition: 'if they gathered'.
