How to say “his prophets” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِ
Indeed, I found in what Allah sent down to His prophets.
أَنْبِيَائِهِ — his prophets. This is a broken plural (its inner vowels reshape to mean 'many') carrying an attached '-his' at its end. Governed by the preceding 'upon', it sits in the (genitive); the '-his' points back to God as the owner, 'His prophets'. So one word marks both the plural and whose prophets they are.
