Arabic vocabulary
How to say “indeed I” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى أَنْبِيَائِهِ
Indeed, I found in what Allah sent down to His prophets.
إِنِّي — indeed I. This is the emphatic particle 'indeed' fused with an attached '-I', together 'indeed I'. The particle asserts the statement forcefully and supplies the speaker as its accusative subject in one word. So it both stresses the claim and names who makes it.
