Arabic vocabulary
إِبْنَهُ is how you say “his son” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
أَمَرَ إِبْنَهُ بِبَعْضِ أَمْرِهِ فَلَهَى عَنْهُ
He ordered his son to attend to some of his affairs, and the son became absorbed in them.
إِبْنَهُ — his son. A noun with -hu fixing 'his' to it, here the one being ordered, so it wears the object-style ending. The 'his' marks the boy as the father's son and the target of the command.
