Arabic vocabulary
How to say “his son” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
أَمَرَ إِبْنَهُ بِبَعْضِ أَمْرِهِ فَلَهَى عَنْهُ
He ordered his son to attend to some of his affairs, and the son became absorbed in them.
إِبْنَهُ — his son. A noun with -hu fixing 'his' to it, here the one being ordered, so it wears the object-style ending. The 'his' marks the boy as the father's son and the target of the command.
