أَمَرَ إِبْنَهُ بِبَعْضِ أَمْرِهِ فَلَهَى عَنْهُ
He ordered his son to attend to some of his affairs, and the son became absorbed in them.
فَلَهَى — so he became preoccupied. Consecutive fa- ('and so') on a past-tense verb with 'he' inside it. The fa- sequences the becoming-absorbed as the next beat after the command.
