  So let him give it to him wherever he was from the houses of his wives.

  نِسَائِهِ — his wives. A plural noun with the 'his' ending attached, the owner half of 'houses of his wives'; being the possessor forces its genitive ending. The suffix reaches back to the Prophet, not to any nearer noun, so the houses are specifically his wives'.
