How to say “injustice” in Arabic, with pronunciation and real example sentences from OpenArabic texts.
وَأَظْهَرَ فِي الْأَرْضِ الْفَسَادَ وَالْجَوْرَ وَالْكَذِبَ وَخَالَفَ الْخَلْقَ،
And who spread corruption, injustice, and falsehood on earth and opposed creation.
وَالْجَوْرَ — and injustice. This joins 'and' to 'the injustice', a second object of 'spread', in the object ending and definite. The 'and' coordinates it with 'corruption', stacking the spread evils.
From: Proof of the True Messenger →ثُمَّ قَطَعَ دَابِرَهُمْ وَأَبْطَلَ سُنَّتَهُمْ وَمَحَا آثَارَهُمْ وَجَوْرَهُمْ فَإِنَّ أُولَئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُوا عَلَى شَيْءٍ مِمَّا ذُكِرَ
Then He completely cut them off, nullified their traditions, erased their traces and tyranny, for they were not upon anything of what was mentioned.
وَجَوْرَهُمْ — and their tyranny. The wa- adds a second object to the erasing verb, a noun meaning injustice with an attached pronoun, 'and their tyranny', in the accusative. Coordinated with 'their traces', it is a further thing wiped out; the pronoun points to the kings.
