  فُسِّرَ — thus interpreted. A past-tense verb in the passive, 'was interpreted', with no named interpreter. Arabic marks the passive by changing the verb's inner vowels rather than adding a helper word, so the actor drops out and the deed alone is reported.

  سَرَّهُ — it pleased him. A past-tense verb meaning to gladden, carrying a '-hu' (him) fused on as its object: it pleased him.
