How to say “Iyad” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
قال الامام الحافظ أبو الفضل القاضي عياض ﵀
Imam Al-Hafiz Abu Al-Fadl Qadi Iyad, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
عِيَاضٌ — Iyad. The personal name itself, closing the long chain of titles, in the nominative as the core of the subject of 'said'. All the preceding titles stand in apposition to this one name. It pins down exactly who the authority being quoted is.
