Arabic vocabulary
تَعْلَم is how you say “know” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
وَلَا تَكِلنِي على بعد الديار إِلَى صبري الضَّعِيف فصبري أَنْت تعلمه
Do not leave me to my weak patience across the distance of lands.
تَعْلَمُهُ — know it. A present-tense verb 'know' with '-hu' (it) attached as object, subject 'You' inside — 'You know it'. The suffix points to 'my patience': You know how weak it is.
