How to say “Kuda” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
وَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ كُدَىٰ،
And the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, entered from Kuda.
كُدَىٰ — Kuda. A place-name governed by the preposition before it, which is why it sits in the genitive 'from' slot. As a proper name it stays fixed and takes no 'the' marker; its role is simply to name the spot the motion started from.
