وبيت ماله الكذب والإسراف في المدح والهجو والتشبيه والنعوت والحماسة،
And its stock-in-trade consists of lies, exaggeration in praise, satire, similes, descriptions, and boasting,
الْكِذْبُ — lies. This is the predicate — what that stock consists of: lying. It is definite and nominative, used generically for 'falsehood' as a category. The verbless sentence sets 'its stock-in-trade [is] lies' simply by juxtaposition.
