  So make for yourself a mirror of thought through which you see what lies beyond events,

  فَاجْعَلْ — so make. The fa- draws this command as the conclusion of the advice, and the verb is an order, 'make', with the 'you' understood and unspoken as imperatives are. The prefix attaches the command to what came before as its upshot.
