Arabic vocabulary
How to say “mission” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
لَمَّا بَلَغَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ مَبْعَثَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
When the Prophet's mission reached Abu Dharr, may God bless him and grant him peace.
مَبْعَثَ — mission. The first noun of a two-noun 'of' pairing, 'the mission of the Prophet'. As the lead term it carries no 'the' of its own and draws definiteness from the owner-name behind it; here it is the thing that did the reaching.
