The Dajjal will appear in my nation and will remain for forty—I do not know whether days or months or years.
شَهْرًا — months. The counted noun after this 'forty' — SINGULAR and accusative again, 'forty month[s]'. The same 11-99 rule: one 'month' carries the whole count. The second possible unit.
