Arabic vocabulary
How to say “my geese” in Arabic, with pronunciation and an example from OpenArabic texts.
فَقَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي جِيرَانًا يَسْرِقُونَ أَوْزِي
He said, "O Prophet of God, I have neighbors who steal my geese."
أَوْزِي — my geese. A noun 'geese' with a tail pronoun 'my' welded onto its end, so 'my geese' is one word. The attached 'my' is the possessor, riding as an ending rather than a separate word. It is the thing stolen, the object of the 'steal' verb.
