Arabic vocabulary
تَصْفِيَةِ is how you say “purification” in Arabic. Hear it pronounced and see it used in a real example sentence from classical texts below.
مَنْ أَحَبَّ تَصْفِيَةَ الْأَحْوَالِ، فَلْيَجْتَهِدْ فِي تَصْفِيَةِ الْأَعْمَالِ،
Whoever loves to purify his inner states should strive to purify his deeds.
تَصْفِيَةِ — purification. An action-noun, 'purifying', sitting in the 'of'-style ending because the preposition before it governs it, and itself heading an 'of' chain with the next word. So it is doubly bound: governed by 'in' and the possessed head of 'purifying of the deeds'. It echoes the earlier purifying, now applied to actions.
