الْجُمْلَةُ — the sentence. 'the sentence', the fronted topic after 'amma', nominative. al- marks it the specific prescribed wording.

الْجُمْلَةُ — the complete sentence. 'the sentence' — the thing meant, and the subject of the passive 'is intended', nominative. The conclusion the whole passage drives at.
