وأمثال ذَلِك مِمَّا اسْتعْمل فِيهِ لفظ الْكَلِمَة من الْكتاب وَالسّنة بل وَسَائِر كَلَام الْعَرَب فَإِنَّمَا يُرَاد بِهِ الْجُمْلَة التَّامَّة
And the likes of that from the usage of the term (the word) in the Book and the Sunnah, as well as the rest of Arab speech, for it indeed means the complete sentence.
وَالسُّنَّةِ — and the Sunnah. 'and the Sunna', joined by 'wa', genitive — the Prophet's practice. The second source, paired with the Book.

What is this engagement in trivialities? It is nothing but the Book and the Sunnah.
وَسُنَّةٌ — and a Sunnah. This is wa- joining a second predicate, 'and a practice', to 'a book'. The coordinating wa- means this item matches the case of what it is joined to, so it too takes the indefinite predicate ending.
